When we heard the news that Bailey Fox was engaged, our whole team was elated! It felt like yesterday when Holly helped her older sister Alex tie the knot several years ago at DeLille Cellars! It goes without saying that we were more than happy to take on another Fox wedding. Meeting with Bailey and Tanner at their first planning session felt more like old friends reuniting over a glass of bubbly than a typical client meet and greet. Tanner ended the next meeting by saying, “We knew you’d be a great wedding planner because you always come prepared with champagne!”
Bailey and Tanner wanted their wedding to reflect them as a couple both in personality and style. They sure hit the nail on the head in both departments! Their personal style is modern, industrial, chic while their personalities are fun, laid back, and always up to pop a bottle of sparkling wine! Can you see a common theme here? Family, dancing, and champagne were on the top of their priority lists so I knew from the start that this was going to be such a fun wedding to plan!
The existing industrial decor of the Fremont Foundry was the perfect blueprint for us to add modern, moody, and fun details to make the wedding truly reflect them. As guests arrived, bubbles were offered until the ceremony kicked off. The iconic Fremont Bridge in the background was an apropos setting for the Seattle native couple as they exchanged vows under a modern arch. Bailey’s uncle (and also her dad’s identical twin!) did the honors of declaring their marriage and there was not a dry eye in the crowd!Bamboo Beats continued the music and the drinks were pouring during the rooftop cocktail hour, while the reception space was getting those final touches. After the gorgeous rooftop sunset, guests were led downstairs for dinner, cake, and dancing – with a few fun surprises up our sleeves! 

Since most of the focus of the reception was on dancing and mingling, we spruced up the dance floor by adding gorgeous PNW inspired greenery on the staircase from Ravissant and added ambient lighting from Crimson Haze to set the mood. The soft lighting from the string lights and around the perimeter created such a romantic ambiance for Bailey and Tanner’s first dance. What the guests weren’t expecting was the incredible light show on the glass dance floor and throughout the entire venue to get the party started! Bailey’s stunning gown illuminated on the dance floor making her truly the belle of the ball!

One of the best tips I can give to an engaged couple during the planning process is to end the wedding day on a high note. You want your guests to remember the night to be fun, exciting, and one of the best events they’ve ever been to. Wow, did Bailey and Tanner’s wedding night do just that! Getting this dancing crowd off the dance floor was a hilarious challenge but once they knew there were sparklers and an after party at a local hot spot, they were excited to send the couple on their way! Bailey’s uncle (and officiant!) offered to chauffeur the newlyweds to their next destination in his vintage classic Mercedes with the top down! What a way to end the night!
We always love when we book couples from word of mouth but it makes it even more special when it’s within the family.
