The Admiral’s House | Seattle, WA
Alodia and David choose Admiral’s House as their wedding venue because it showcased the beautiful Seattle scenery for their out of town guests. Their color palette featured reds, pinks, neutrals, gold, navy and lots of greenery – including a gorgeous greenery + flower chandelier in the tent; Seattle Met Bride & Groom showcased more details of their wedding design here. The bridesmaid dresses were mixed matched in different colors with the Maid of Honor looking fabulous in a floral pattern floor length gown. Tying in their cultures and family was a priority for their wedding day: Alodia’s family is from Ethiopia, with roots here in the Pacific Northwest, and David’s family is from Canada. They honored their families with favors of Ethiopian coffee and maple syrup from Canada, along with incorporating an Ethiopian fabric on their ceremony arch and performing an Ethiopian coffee ceremony during the reception.
