Linda and Hilary’s top request for their wedding was for it to be a party first and foremost, and for it to be unconventional! The Metropolist served as the perfect venue for the couple’s vision for a unique celebration, with its large, dramatic windows and industrial vibe. Danae achieved a modern, urban ambiance with grey and navy tones, while also giving a nod to the great outdoors, which is both their first love, with natural wood accents. The venue’s iconic wooden wall doubled as the ceremony backdrop, while the aisle was lined with cinder blocks, candles, and greens to give it any edgy, urban feel with lots of texture. To take the party up a notch, Linda and Hilary had a choreographed Michael Jackson routine to kick off the dancing! The party continued with glow sticks on the dancefloor and an impromptu ping pong tournament. To end things on a sweet note, guests were served the most delectable ice cream sandwiches from Street Treats!
