The glorious weather lately has made us nostalgic for a wedding that is just as magnificent! We are pleased to share with you the beautiful wedding celebration of Jessica + Mike who were married on the grounds of the breathtaking DeLille Cellars in Woodinville!
Jessica’s roots are in Seattle, where she grew up, and she actually didn’t meet Mike until they met at college in Arizona. J+M got engaged after Jessica moved to Chicago which is where most of the wedding planning took place. To deal with the distance between Seattle and Chicago, Jessica’s wedding planner, Huoy with Perfectly Posh Events, held several video conference calls with Jessica to work out the details of her wedding day. They also took advantage of the few trips Jessica made home over the course of the year, and were able to plan up close and personal as well!
DeLille Cellars was the perfect backdrop with its lush gardens and whimsical chateau.
Jessica looked stunning in her tulle ball gown and Mike perfected the part of being the handsome groom. Their wedding party looks pretty darn good too!
During the week leading up to the wedding, it was raining on and off, in classic fall Seattle style. We kept our fingers crossed for a sunny day for wedding and we got lucky with an unbelievable beautiful sunny day for their garden ceremony. Jessica’s vision for the wedding was classic and romantic, which was achieved through beautiful floral arrangements from Flora Nova and dreamy calligraphy from la Happy. Her color palette was the elegant combination of blush, gold, and white, with hints of green sprinkled around with greenery swag–you’ll see more of this during the reception!
Their ceremony was picturesque among the trees on the green lawn of the grounds. From the stunning aisle markers of floral arrangements atop old wine barrels, the classic look of the entire wedding party, to the beautiful and personal ceremony, their time among the trees was full of love and support as they J+M shared their vows.
After saying “I Do!” came the elegant cocktail hour and reception that was adorned with the stunning floral design of Flora Nova and so many darling signs with calligraphy done by La Happy. Their guestbook was appropriately a wine bottle that friends and family autographed for the couple to keep!
Moving into dinner from cocktail hour, guests found their tables donned blush pink linens with gold chargers and breathtaking centerpieces full of different shades of pink and white roses and peonies. What an elegant affair!
And the head table!? What a stunner! Talk about swooning! The signs read “Tenore Amore” which translated from Italian means “Content to Have”. And Jessica + Mike were indeed content to have each other and their love from that day on.
As the night went on, guests were entertained with a cigar bar, a festive ASU groom’s cake, and darling mini champagne bottle favors to take home! Everything was in the details for this wedding, and we L-O-V-E it!
Their reception was full of laughter, tears, and dancing.
Their breathtaking wedding came to a close with an intimate sparkler send-off to their getaway car, a classic vintage Bentley, that whisked them away to their happily ever after.
Congrats, Jessica + Mike! May your lives find contentment in what you have in your love, and happiness in your ever after.
