With 2013 right around the corner, I want to take a moment to celebrate all the fabulousness from 2012. I had a whirlwind year and am so grateful for my Perfectly Posh team, all our amazing couples and everyone who has supported us, thank you!!!
And now for some of the highlights…
{Love Story Contest}
2012 kicked off with our first Love Story Contest where couples submitted their Love Story for a chance to win a wedding planning package. After hundreds of votes, John and Alex took home the prize!!!

I had so much fun working with them and their wedding is possibly one of my top-three favorite weddings ever! They had a relaxed beach-front wedding on Whidbey Island, complete with Skillet Food Truck, a rocking band and a crazy surprise airplane fly-over. These guys seriously know how to throw an awesome party!!!
{Spoiler Alert} Due to the success of the first Love Story contest, I have decided to bring back the contest again for 2013! Stay tuned for details – you just might be the one to win this year!

{Huoy becomes an Assistant Wedding Coordinator}
I am so blessed to have several really awesome ladies on the Perfectly Posh Events team! This year the team expanded by adding Huoy as our new Assistant Coordinator. She has been an amazing addition to the team and is extremely talented! Several lucky couples have already worked with Huoy and many more will work with her in 2013!

{2012 Wedding Trends}
The year of 2012 saw lots of wedding design trends come and go, but the two that stick out most in my memory were Ombre and Burlap (seriously, who did NOT have burlap at their wedding?). {Get Hitched Give Hope}
After a year of hard work, it was so exciting to see Get Hitched Give Hope’s “Vintage Circus” theme gala come to life at the Four Seasons Hotel! I am truly amazed at how many people in the Seattle wedding industry put in countless hours of work to make this event happen. And it paid off…we were able to raise over $100,000 for the Dream Foundation and Young Survivors Coalition!!!!
Earlier in the year, I was flattered to be appointed the new VP of Events for Get Hitched Give Hope starting in 2013. I am so excited to have this position and can’t wait to share some fabulous things with you soon about GHGH 2013!!!
