We are absolutely thrilled to share photos of Anne + Ryan’s nuptials with you! Anne + Ryan married at Anne’s family home in Gig Harbor which overlooks Puget Sound. The couple wove so many tender and personal details into their special day. Anne + Ryan created a gorgeous celebration filled with love, laughter and personalization. And those gorgeous views of the water were just icing on the cake!
Anne + Ryan’s love story is one of the sweetest we’ve ever heard. The couple met because Anne wrote a note that started with “Hey cute neighbor.” Then she left it on Ryan’s car. We created a custom mirror sign that featured the entire note for guests to read!
Organic & Natural Flowers
Anne + Ryan wanted their guests to feel comfortable and relaxed in an elegant yet inviting space. So we focused on organic, natural flowers with lots of greenery and candlelight.
A Ceremony with a View
The florals complimented the gorgeous views of Puget Sound. Anne’s father built the wooden structure the couple were married in front of which added such a personalized touch to an already special day.
A Romantic Reception
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a sit-down dinner under a beautiful tent that created a warm and inviting space. We stayed with organic, natural flowers and lots of greenery to keep a cohesive look.
Above all, Anne + Ryan had their guests comfort in mind. We created several lounges to friends and family places to kick back and relax, even providing comfy blankets!
We wove the note theme throughout the wedding with custom engraved matchbooks. On one side, the “Hey cute neighbor” line. On the other side, a replica of Ryan’s station wagon. Guests used these matchbooks in the cigar lounge and as take-home favors.
Anne + Ryan love adventuring outdoors together in the Pacific Northwest. They wanted to incorporate that into their wedding design. For example, escort cards were tied to camping mugs etched with their custom logo. They also doubled as wedding favors. The reception table numbers were photos of Anne + Ryan on different hikes.
In conclusion, Anne + Ryan’s wedding wove touching and sentimental details throughout their special day. We were honored to be a part of it from start to finish. From the gorgeous views of Puget Sound to the florals and design details that complimented those views, Anne + Ryan were an absolute dream to work with!
