Elena + Travis | The Woodmark Hotel & Spa

Perfectly Posh News· Real Wedding: Woodmark Hotel· Wedding Design

14 Dec

We are so thrilled to share photos from Elena + Travis’ wedding with you from this past summer! Elena + Travis married at the Woodmark Hotel & Spa in Kirkland. Their romantic and elegant theme shown through in all their details of the day. And they wove in several modern touches too. Elena + Travis wanted their guests to remember how much fun they had and how much love they felt in the air. And from their photos you can see it!

Congratulations to Elena + Travis as they celebrated their marriage at the Woodmark Hotel & Spa.

While Travis and his groomsmen spent the morning boating, Elena and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting glam at the Woodmark. From the personalized sweet sign outside the room to the blue details, Elena spent the time before becoming a Mrs. with the ladies who meant the most to her.

Elena adjusts her blue wedding day shoes as she has just finished putting on her dress before the ceremony.
Elena + Travis's wedding bands and Elena's rings are pictured on their place cards, a geometric shape with hand calligraphy.

Elena’s dress with its classic silhouette fit her to a T. Her bridesmaids’ dresses complimented their venue and worked well with the romantic and classic vibe of the day. The bouquets were cohesive with a romantic feel of eucalyptus and classic, monochrome white flowers.

Elena poses on the dock at the Woodmark Hotel & Spa holding her romantic bouquet.
Elena's bridal party dresses were a muted mauve that helped set the tone for the romantic day.

The personalized details were woven through here too. A photo of Elena and her father, who had passed, adorned her bouquet. And Travis’ pocket square with the UW logo. Elena + Travis both love Husky football. They’re at the game every Saturday in the Fall.

Elena + Travis love UW Husky football so Travis couldn't resist showing his support with his pocket square!

The florals really set the romantic tone for Elena + Travis’ ceremony on the waterfront at The Woodmark Hotel & Spa. The monochrome florals. The lush greenery. The hanging floral balls.

Elena + Travis's wedding ceremony was filled with romantic florals in cream and white tones and lush greenery.

Elena + Travis's welcome sign greeted guests with a modern typography and a romantic floral swag.

Furthermore, no floral details were overlooked. What a sweet touch. We’re loving this succulent at the bottom of the vases that lined the aisle!

Elena + Travis mixed modern and romantic for their wedding at the Woodmark Hotel & Spa.

Again, Elena + Travis thought of everything! Upon taking their seats guests were greeted with customized bubbles to blow on the couple’s exit. The ceremony program, as well as the signage, included a modern typography which added a sleek feel for the day.

Elena + Travis mixed in a modern feel to their romantic wedding with their ceremony programs and they treated guests to a custom bottle of bubbles to blow as they walked down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs.

There is a very touching moment from the ceremony that has stayed with us. As Elena’s father is no longer with us, her two brothers walked her down the aisle. And her third brother walked the couple’s dog, Aspen, down the aisle. The love this family shares is so evident and present!

Immediately following the ceremony Elena + Travis boarded a boat with some bubbly in hand. They shared a few moments together as husband and wife while their guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn. The beautiful gray and textured cocktail table linens paired perfectly with the beautiful water in the background! The floral centerpieces exuded romance. Guests also played one of the couple’s favorite game, corn hole, complete with of course, a University of Washington logo!!!

Elena + Travis’ guests ate dinner under the tent on the waterfront. We absolutely love the floor plan. Elena + Travis created visual interest with a long table that ran down the center of the tent and round tables. Also adding texture? Lush greenery garland. We love that Elena + Travis repurposed the bridesmaids’ bouquets on the head table!

Elena and Travis added a fun and unique element to their place setting. The place cards. Each guest’s name adorned a hexagon-shaped tile. And each color of the tile represented the guest’s meal choice. How clever!

— Guests took them home too!!

Once guests finished dinner and the sun set guests were invited inside to watch Elena + Travis cut the cake then cut a rug! How cute is this balloon sign! They treated their guests to cake and cake pops!

Elena + Travis brought their personality through in their wedding day with this fun "Treat Yo Self" balloon sign at their cake table.

We truly enjoyed working with Elena + Travis. The couple is super organized which helped us gel over the course of the planning process. Furthermore, they trusted us to execute their vision alongside their wonderful vendor team.

Congratulations  Elena + Travis!!

Congratulations to Elena + Travis as they celebrate their wedding day with their dog, Aspen.

Until Next Time
