In honor of St. Paddy’s Day, we wanted to share a wedding that welcomed St. Patrick’s Day in style! Katie + Travis’ Melrose Market Studios wedding was a stunning affair that was not only planned by our Boss Lady, Holly Patton Olsen, but also happened to be held on the eve of the festive holiday we’re celebrating today! Holly loved planning with Katie + Travis, because they were up for anything when it came to finding creative ways to bring fun to the mix, and because how sweet they were to each other.
We can’t even handle Travis’ first look with Katie!
It all started with a crossword puzzle–on the back of the ceremony program that is! Katie + Travis wanted guests to be entertained as they waited for the festivities to start.
Then followed a candle lit ceremony against the stunning brick backdrop Melrose Market Studios boasts.
Then came the food and the fun!
Travis’ favorite sweet treat was Cinnabon, and the one fantasy he wished to fulfill on his wedding day was to be on the dance floor while eating a beloved Cinnabon. And eat and dance he did! There was no cake at this wedding. Just gooey, delicious cinnamon rolls instead!
As midnight of St. Patrick’s day approached, emerald green party props were passed around to one and all, as well as festive green jello shots. The party continued into the wee hours of St. Patrick’s Day!
We feel lucky Katie + Travis entrusted their festive and personal celebration with us!
