We are so thrilled to share the photos from Emma + Kevin’s wedding with you! When Emma + Kevin and I first started the planning process it was clear from the start. This would be a day full of gorgeous design. It was important to Emma that her wedding wasn’t “cookie cutter.” And instead showcased Emma + Kevin’s personalities.

Emma + Kevin were married in the Church of Latter-Day Saints Temple in Bellevue. And their reception, at Robinswood House, was just down the street. Emma grew up nearby. So she and her family would walk near Robinswood House as it’s surrounded by beautiful and lush woods and walkways.

Emma + Kevin bucked tradition when it came to their color palette. They embraced mustard, peach, pale blue and pale yellow. Emma + Kevin’s invitation suite truly set the tone for their wedding reception. For instance, the envelope is a pretty peach with a floral envelope liner. Emma created a custom illustration of Robinswood House and the Temple. And their RSVP card envelope is a sumptuous olive.

Now let’s talk tables. We started with the color palette to bring Emma’s vision to life. Mustard hemstitch napkins from CORT gave a pop of color to the Panama Grey table linen as well as the Jupiter colored glasses, also from CORT.

The florals really pulled it all together. Emma wanted a garden style with blooms that embraced her color palette. And Gather Design Co. did not disappoint!

Emma + Kevin wanted their guests to feel comfortable. Since it was an open-house style reception they still kept their guests comfort in mind by adding a boho style lounge. We kept it cohesive with luxurious blue velvet linen for cocktail tables. Bud vases tied the two looks together

Guests were treated to an ice cream cart complete with custom flavors and ice cream floats. The couple’s wedding cake was also a sweet part of the evening. Honey Crumb’s gorgeous sugar flowers in Emma + Kevin’s color palette donned their three-tiered creation.

One of my most favorite moments of the night? The getaway. And I’m a little biased here. Emma + Kevin drove off in a 1965 Ford Mustang loaned by a family friend. I myself own a 1965 Ford Mustang. So I was in love!!! In addition, a sweet “Just Married” sign donned the trunk. And garland with blooms tucked in lined the back window.

In conclusion, Emma + Kevin were so much fun to work with. Emma came to me with her vision and trusted the planning process. Emma’s vision also made some of my design dreams come true! Velvet linens. Hemstich napkins. A non-traditional color palette. Emma + Kevin’s vendor team was a delight to collaborate with as well. Truly knocking it out of the park!
Congratulations to Emma + Kevin!

Until Next Time! ~Katie
