We had such a fun time putting together this styled wedding shoot at Coopers Hall in Portland! The theme was Modern Moroccan. We were inspired by patterned tiles & textiles, citrus fruits and pops of orange. Our talented team pulled together so many fun and unique details! Photographer, Lindsay Blair, captured the mood and warm colors so well!

The Space
Coopers Hall Winery and Taproom is located in the central eastside of Portland. The event venue has a modern industrial vibe that is softened by the beautiful wine barrels, lush greenery and string lights overhead. There are numerous ways to set up your wedding with different configurations in the barrel room, taproom and mezzanine that overlooks the entire space. Ceremony capacity is 120-150 with a seated reception capacity of 180 people. In addition to their handcrafted wines, they offer a full service bar as well as incredible farm-to-table Northwest cuisine.

The Ceremony
Bella Bloom Florals worked their magic to create this incredible floral garland alter with fun Moroccan lanterns for the wedding ceremony space. The mismatched pillows on café chairs make for such inviting guest seating. We can’t get enough of this tile aisle runner (we’re dubbing it “The Taisle”)! This is such a fun way to bring a pattern into your wedding décor scheme. Coopers Hall is filled with pots of huge tropical plants & hanging greenery that bring so much life to the industrial space.

The Stationary
Letters & Dust wowed us with these wood-laser-cut wedding invitations. The intricate patterns are just bursting with Moroccan flair! Mandalas are such an exciting and exotic design.

The Table
This reception tablescape is so incredibly warm & inviting for your wedding guests. We chose decorative blue goblets, grey matte & metal copper flatware and gold accented China. The simplicity of the knotted hemstich napkin is both elegant and relaxed. Moroccan style is all about mixing and matching! We mingled inventory from The Party Place and Classic Vintage Rentals to achieve the look we were after. We had so much fun combining different colors, textures and patterns. The mismatched vintage white chairs bring in the wedding element to this fun dinner party! Additional stationary for the table was provided by Pomp & Revel. We just love all the details, especially the incredible tassels on the menus! The wooden wine barrels at Coopers Hall provide such a fun background for photos.

The Centerpieces
Centerpieces on long tables are so much fun to complete! You never quite know exactly how it will look until all of the components are mixed together! In the center of our table was a stunning arrangement by Bella Bloom Florals with orange & copper accents. Flanking the ends were huge bursts of pampas grass with greenery in tall gold urns. Down the white raw silk runner was a collection of citrus fruit, Moroccan lanterns, tapered candles and unique vases.

The Cake
Dream Cakes created this fresh and classy three-tiered wedding cake. I love the mix of lemon, orange and blood-orange citrus accents combined with floral & greenery! Dream Cakes provided this modern metal cake stand that looked perfect on the wooden wine barrel.

The Lounge
Coopers Hall has an incredible mezzanine that looks over the whole wedding ceremony and reception area. We had a fun & welcoming lounge in this space. We mixed and matched textures like leather & Mongolian faux fur to create an exotic & cozy vibe. Adding pillows, candles & throw blankets is an automatic invitation for your guests to curl up and stay a while! Classic Vintage Rentals has such an extensive inventory of unique lounge pieces, it was so hard to choose!

The Look
Our bride looks stunning in this bohemian, lace gown by Portland bridal designer, Elizabeth Dye. Hair & Makeup artist, Jovana Combs, added this fun crystal headpiece and is a master at the brown smokey-eye! Bella Bloom Florals brought it all together with this abundant & rustic bridal bouquet. I love the elongated shape of the bouquet and how it can be held either vertically or horizontally for a variance in photos.
