We can’t wait to show you a stunner of a celebration that was Eliana + Andrew’s wedding! Their special day took place just outside of Seattle at The Lodge at Fall City – it was one of the first weddings to take place at this venue which doubles as a Christmas Tree farm in the winter, which gave for some super dreamy shots– take a look!
When sitting down with Holly, E+A described wanting their wedding to have a very Pacific Northwest feel of rustic and elegant, but also have an organic style and relaxed vibe.
Eliana wanted to keep the design relatively simple but with a WOW factor that would be memorable to guests.
As it goes sometimes in the PNW, E+A’s outdoor July wedding had unexpected rain so we had to switch to Plan B with tents at the last minute but it turned out so lovely!
Their ceremony was so beautiful, with the addition of the chuppah.
For the reception, we designed a stunning hanging installation in the main reception tent that spanned the length of 16 feet with iron gates from Vintage Ambiance covered in greenery and flowers from Sugar Pine, with 15 gorgeous vintage chandeliers hanging above the head table. It was a show stopper!
The groom and his family are really into music {his mother is a professional harpist} so music was really important to them! They incorporated three different musical experiences for guests – starting with a string quartet for the ceremony, followed by a fabulous jazz performance during cocktail hour and dinner, and ending with a rocking dancing party featuring lots of 90’s hiphop! For dessert, guests were surprised with a vintage VW bus serving ice cream sandwiches after dinner – and it was hilarious to watch grown adults run towards the ice cream truck! E+A ended the night with the Hora, and a send-off alternative of glow sticks for guests to hold and wave as they went by! They were perfect for the rainy farewell!
Even though mother nature had other plans on that July weekend, we didn’t let it get us down! E+A’s day turned out better than we could have hoped! Cheers to you, E+A and happy almost anniversary!Photo Credit | Max & Sam Photography
Until next time!
