Wedding Inspiration: Incorporating Your Dog Into Your Wedding Day!

Wedding Design

27 May

Qui me Amat, Amet et Canem Meum is Latin for “Love Me, Love My Dog,” or “Whoever Loves Me, Loves my Dog also.” Attributed to St. Bernard de Clairvaux [1150 AD]

If you are a dog owner, you already know the importance a pet can have in your life. They make you laugh, encourage you to enjoy the outdoors, and connect you to other people. As you plan out your wedding and pick your bridal party, you and your groom will choose the friends and family that are the most loyal, loving, and who will stay by your side and support you through your marriage. Why not incorporate your furry family member into your wedding day? Pets play an important role in a couple’s life and without them; your wedding celebration may not be complete! There are many unique and fun ways to dress up your pup to be a member of the wedding party.

Here are a few of our favorite creative ideas and inspirations:

Whether you want to use bow ties, tutus, or floral collars, these are just a few of the creative ways you can include your favorite canine into your wedding. So bring a few dog treats and enjoy your celebration with your furry family members!

“A person can learn a lot from a dog, even a loopy one like ours. Marley taught me about living each day with unbridled exuberance and joy, about seizing the moment and following your heart. He taught me to appreciate the simple things-a walk in the woods, a fresh snowfall, and a nap in a shaft of winter sunlight. And as he grew old and achy, he taught me about optimism in the face of adversity. Mostly, he taught me about friendship and selflessness and, above all else, unwavering loyalty.” ― John Grogan, Marley and Me: Life and Love with the World’s Worst Dog

Tell us, how will you include your pet into your wedding?
